Becky Adesso is a local business owner, former DeLand HS Band/Chorus Mom, and community volunteer/board member for several Volusia County non-profits. Becky was one of Matt Buth’s many Band Moms, and fondly remembers his smile, his easy nature with fellow musicians, and his unwavering dedication to his music.

Dr. Boswell currently serves as the Assoc Director of Bands at Missouri State University. He received his degrees from Florida State University, and proudly served as Director of Bands at DeLand HS from 2017-2019, where he taught Matt Buth in Band.

Audra Jolliffe is a former band mom and a volunteer in the community. She loves everything band related! She was in band in high school and college. (Go Noles!) Audra remembers Matt and how he was always helping others.

Mary Buth is Mom to Matt and his sister Ashleigh, as well as Mimi to her grandbabies. She has a passion for all things Disney related and to her community! Mary has been a part of the MBF from its conception and ensures that Matt’s legacy continues to shine because as he always said, “The Show Must Go On!”

Rob Urban is a writer and consultant specializing in strategy and growth. A U.S. Marine veteran with a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Science, he is the author of 13 books. He helps businesses, nonprofits, and associations solve complex problems and reach more people through digital strategy and compelling storytelling. Rob and his family call DeLand home and share deep ties to music and the creative arts. Having lost numerous people to suicide, he brings a personal commitment to mental health awareness and helping people feel less alone. He is honored to contribute his experience to carrying Matt’s legacy forward.
